Pigeon Point is a small neighborhood just to the south of the West Seattle bridges connection to the area. Pigeon Point is set upon a hill which gives most of the homes here territorial views of the nearby parts of West Seattle, Duwamish industrial areas and Cascade mountains to the east. With its proximity to the bridge, Pigeon Point is one of the best areas in West Seattle for a quick commute into downtown and prices for homes here are typically quite reasonable. Pigeon Point Park is at the south end of the neighborhood and offers wooded areas and hiking trails plus is connected to the West Duwamish Greenbelt which is the largest greenbelt in the city of Seattle. There is no business district in this neighborhood although a quick drive down the hill will access a small number of shops and restaurants along Delridge and Avalon Way. Homes in Pigeon Point are typically from the early to mid 1900’s with prices starting around $600k.
