Named for the Jackson Park Golf Course which it surrounds, this north Seattle neighborhood is a small, quiet one with a mixture of single family residential and condos. The golf course was finished in 1928 and the surrounding area started to develop around the same time with the oldest houses in the area built in the mid 1920’s There is a nice sized business district just two blocks from the golf course with a combination of shops, restaurants and stores. Housing in Jackson Park is reasonably priced with condos starting around $225k and single family houses around $400k although there is some new construction houses that command prices over $700k.
