BROADMOOR | Central Seattle Neighborhoods
Broadmoor is a unique neighborhood in Seattle in that it’s a fully gated community that is surrounded by the Broadmoor Golf Course. Broadmoor was developed from land that had been logged by the Puget Mill Company during the early days of Seattle. In 1925 the company sold 216 acres of land to the Broadmoor Golf Club Corporation which set out to build an 18 hole golf course to be surrounded by 300 plus homes. Construction started shortly thereafter and continued throughout the mid 1900’s in what would immediately become one of the more affluent neighborhoods in Seattle.
Broadmoor doesn’t have amenities in the neighborhood itself but does have quick access to those in neighboring Madison Park and Madison Valley. As one of the most desirable and exclusive locations to live in all of Seattle homes in Broadmoor are single family higher end properties with prices starting around $2m.
